Gleaming for You......

It's one of those legendary 360 days of sun here in Denver and this basket of freshly-dyed Dancing Colors yarn begged me to take its photo as I carried it from the dye studio to the Knittery.   Really, I'm almost positive I could hear it whisper "please take our picture, we're gleaming for you......."

Then again, maybe I've just been reading too many fairy tales lately.

Jack Frost the lad?

We've had some wintery days here in Colorado of late and I captured this image on our front door glass while on my way out to shoot a new sweater design in the early morning snow.  Just last night I looked at it again and saw what looks to me to be a face, a bit of a frosty face to be sure, but a face nonetheless.  What about you?  Do you see the up-turned nose and elfen ear?

ChaChaCha Changes...

As do all things, the Knitaway (and the Knitaway blog) are changing..... and believe me, this all promises to be a fabulous thing. Change is good and exciting, even though it can seem, at first, strange.

I saw a this on a little marquee outside a school near my studio:

"We can all cherish old memories and young hopes."

I like that.
